Whether you're cold
calling or calling your warm market, you still have the same objective.
That objective is not to make an immediate sale. Your objective is to
get that prospect to look at or request additional information. My own
success rate at calling prospects has improved drastically over the
years especially since I started using my vacation incentives. Using
incentives can be very effective. However, sometimes I use incentives
and sometimes NOT. Below I'll be showing you how I've used incentives
to build my business.
But first I want to show you what NOT to say on your calls:
Never
ask:
"Are you the
man/woman of the house?" This implies that you're making a
random call and it will normally not be appreciated. You have to be
personal and call your prospect by name. If you're using some type of
list that only supplies email addresses and numbers then it's not a
good list. Bottom line: Use only lists that give you qualifying
information about your prospect (i.e. name, email, number, city, state,
age, reason for starting home biz, how much they're willing to spend to
start a home biz etc.)
"Are you STILL
interested in a home business?" Although many networkers start
out with this question, it gives your prospect the
opportunity to say "no" and hang up before you've given him/her the
whole
scoop. You need to make them understand first that you want to give
them something for free just for taking a look at your opportunity.
Remember, everybody wants something for their time. Once you've gotten
their attention with your free gift, at that point they'll be more
willing to look at what you're doing and how it can benefit them. Note
that this is only one strategy of many. If you're not using incentives
then be sure that you've listened to one of our profe
Note:
There will always be someone to ask YOU, "So, how much money are you
making with this?" If you're not making thousands of dollars yet then
here's what you should tell them:
"I'm just
starting out in this business but my sponsor, who only does this
part-time, is already earning $2,000+ monthly. He's teaching me, just
as he's teaching hundreds of others, exactly how to earn money online.
I'm off to a very good start simply because of the product that I'm
promoting and the support of my team. The good thing about this
business is that I have the potential to earn more money than my
sponsor and earn it a lot faster than he did. So the question of how
much I'm earning right now is really irrelevant to how much you could
earn in an even shorter amount of time, not just depending on your own
efforts but the efforts of the company and myself."
Telemarketing
Script:
Hello (prospect's name),
How are you doing today? Pause.
My name is (your name) with
Nutronix International. I
have information here that you are interested in a home based business.
I'm certainly qualified in that area to help you get started. Now if
you decide to take a look at what we have to offer, I'll give you a
free
incentive which is a free 3 day 2 night stay at any one of the 24
locations listed on my certificate. All you have to do is allow me to
send you my company's NO RISK information. Once you've reviewed that
information, we can talk again. Whether you decide to join us as a
business or not, I
WILL send you that 3 day 2 night incentive with no further obligation. (If Yes) Ok, great let me verify
your email address (Read back
email address). (If Correct)
Ok, I'll send you that information immediately. Now all I need to know
is when would be the best time to contact you back with your free gift.
(WRITE IT DOWN and call them back
with follow up).
Note: The above
script will work best with your AB lead capture page and/or slide show.
Once a prospect agrees to receive the
information, all you have to do is send them a link to your AB site
and/or slide show. It's
a good idea to create a message that you can easily copy and paste each
time you're sending info to a new prospect. Below is an example that
you can use.
Subject: Hi
(NAME), We spoke earlier today - Here is that information
Hi (NAME),
It was certainly nice talking with you earlier. I know you may be a bit
skeptical about my home biz but I know that once you've reviewed this
information then you'll realized that there's absolutely nothing to be
skeptical about. But anyway, I'll be calling you back at the time we
agreed upon and whether you decide to take advantage of this excellent
opportunity or not I'll still give you that free 3 day 2 night
incentive (provided that you've at least taken a look).

When you call your prospect back, please DO NOT be "Pushy". They hate
that!
Follow
up Telemarketing Script:
Hello (prospect's name),
How are you doing today? Pause.
My name is (your name)
with Nutronix International. We talked (number of days) ago and I sent
you some information about my very profitable home business. This call
is merely to see what you think of the company, the product and the
business opportunity. So, tell me (prospect's
name), do you have any experience in working from from? (Let them answer) Why are you
looking at starting a home business at this time? (Let them answer) What is it
that you liked and/or didn't like about the
opportunity? (Let the prospect
speak
and then inform them about our NO RISK 8 day 7 night incentive that
they'll receive if they are not successful with this business. Assure
them that they'll receive all the training information that they'll
ever need. Allow the prospect to speak as much as possible in order to
identity that person's "why". Once your prospect comes to the
realization that they DO need an extra source of income then they'll
very likely at least take the free trial in order to try out the
product. Keep in mind that YOU do not have to do a lot of explaining
here because your marketing tools have done MOST of the work for you.
If you feel that this person is NOT right for your business then let
them know and send them their incentive just for taking a look. Or if
your prospect is totally not interested then simply
send them the 3 day 2 night incentive and inform them that they may
still contact you in the future if they decide to take another look.
NOTE: if you
have an autoresponder then add your prospects to it so that you can
send out updates to your mailing list of people who NOW know you. By
doing so, you'll have prospects joining you weeks or even months later.
Understand This:
Cold calling is
a very simple process. Most people don't like cold calling because they
get the feeling that their only objective is to sell something. Sure,
you
want your prospects to buy or join but that's not YOUR objective.
Again, your objective is to get people to your information and let them
make a decision for themselves. Keep in mind, the best way to make
sales is to allow the customers to sell themselves on the product or
service :-)
